PLAYmatters Philosophy!
“PLAYmatters serves the community with creative toys and activities of the best concept, quality, and design; providing enduring play value to children of all ages. We selectively choose toys that teach, challenge, and inspire.”
First opened in 1992, by Michael Ziegenhagen and his family, PLAYmatters has expanded to four locations in the Cleveland Metropolitan area.
After the success of our first store in Pepper Pike, PLAYmatters opened in Shaker Square in 1995, Solon in 1998, and Mentor in 2007!
We Care About Our Neighborhoods!
In the past year, Playmatters has contributed to the programs and fundraisers of:
* Over ten local churches and synagogues
* More than twenty local schools
* Charities, such as: Adoption Network of Cleveland, American Heart Association, Seeds of Literacy, Relay for Life, Autism Associations, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Associations, Providence House, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, and numerous other organizations that support the growth and health of our communities’ children.
As a locally owned and operated business, Playmatters believes in giving back to the communities who have so generously continued to support us.
